Jamboree Tuxedo was raced at Los Alamitos as a three-year-old, and has been used as a trail horse and senior herd sire since. His sire Jamboree Caliber was the star of the television show "The Adventures of the Black Stallion" and has performed in a number of movies including "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III".
Jamboree Tuxedo is taking some time off after his successful foray into jumping. At his first hunter/jumper show in 2006, he brought home a second and a sixth against a large field of Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods. At his second hunter/jumper show, he brought home two third places in Hunter Over Fences in classes of 17 and 25 horses! At the 2006 Iowa Games, Tux brought home a silver medal in 2'3" jumping against 13 other competitors! He also made his dressage debut, showing to a respectable 57% and 59% in Training Level 1 and 2. He put three gorgeous black straight Malabar fillies on the ground in 2006, and sired two colts and a filly in 2007, three fillies in 2008, and 1 filly in 2009. He covered two mares in 2010, and stands to the public for $600, LFG, live cover or shipped semen. Contact Colleen Stowe for details.
