| The Arabian Horse Society of Iowa, established in 1974 to promote the Arabian Horse, is affiliated with the International Arabian Horse Association - all our voting members automatically become Arabian Horse Association members at the national level. Each year the Society sponsors many events such as overnight trail rides, fun shows, dressage and western clinics (with professional clinicians), educational meetings, and informal open barns and get-togethers. Our three fun shows qualify the entrants for our year-end High Point Awards. In addition, we sponsor promotional booths at the Iowa State Fair and the Iowa Horse Fair. Our members receive a monthly newsletter, keeping them informed of club activities and other horse-related functions. Each year, we publish a nationally-distributed calendar/directory. Best of all, our club gives people a meeting ground for making new friends and visiting about the beautiful and timeless treasure...The Arabian Horse. We invite you to join us! | ||||||||||
