HIGH POINT PROGRAM RULES* 1. Three shows
sponsored by the AHSI will be qualifying shows for the year-end High Point
Awards. These shows are as follows: 2. High point Divisions
are: 3. There will be a $10 one-time entry fee per rider per year to participate in the High Point program. 4. Points will be awarded for five 5 places in the designated classes at each show. Points will be given as follows; the first place horse will earn points equal to the number in the class. Second through fifth places will earn one point less than the placing ahead of it (Example-8 horses in the class, points earned as follows: 1st = 8 points, 2nd = 7, 3rd = 6, 4th = 5, 5th = 4) Supreme Championships shall be awarded with the same point system. 5. Each show will offer a High Point award for that show. (See show officials for rules the day of the show). 6. Each show must
turn in the results to Mary Miner for tabulation at the end of the show with
the following information: 7. Championship Classes do not count toward High Point , Exceptions: the halter division will have a Supreme Championship, where the 1st and 2nd place will show back. 8. Prizes will be awarded at the annual AHSI Christmas Party. Prizes for the TOP FIVE places, Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded. 9. In the event of a TIE, the tie will be resolved by determining the greatest number of first places. The individual with the most 1st places will be considered the winner. If this does not resolve the tie, the individual with the most 2nd places will be considered the winner. 10. Only registered purebred or partbred Arabians, including all those eligible for registration are eligible for the High Point program. *All exhibitors AND owners must be CURRENT MEMBERS of the AHSI for any point earned to be counted toward the High Point Program. Youth MUST have INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP to compete in the High Point Program. 11. Horses may show in Novice and Open classes, but will only collect points in one of the classes for the High Point. 12. All Youth classes are open to Any Breed. Points earned will be on the person, not the horse. 13. Horizon Division:
This division is offered to non-professional and inexperienced riders starting
to show or coming back to the show ring after several years. Points earned
will be on the person, not the horse. *Participants placing top five for
